You want to have a smooth and fast start and get to the thrill of the park as soon as you can. We all know that traveling can be a hassle sometimes. Disney has gone to great lengths to make the last leg of your journey as easy as possible. Here are some smart tips and tricks for a smooth ride from the plane to the park.
Get off the plane
Yes, the first step is to get out of the plane. You are in Orlando and soon you will be in Walt Disney World. There are several ways to make sure you and your family are among the first to get there.
Sit in the front of the plane if you can. This puts you at the head of the crowd and closer to the door. You can fly immediately!
Carry only hand luggage. That way, you won’t have to wait for your checked baggage and you’ll be ready to go. Carrying only carry-on luggage also has economic benefits today. But beware: when everyone is carrying carry-ons, the overhead bins can fill up quickly, especially with those roller bags.
Or alternatively, don’t worry about your luggage. Just check everything off and use Disney’s Magical Express transportation service. Once off the plane, simply run without luggage to the Magical Express Welcome Center in Orlando’s main terminal building. Magical Express will collect your luggage for you and deliver it to your Disney hotel room within three hours of check-in at the resort. Some families designate a broker for racing work at the ME desk. Guess who it could be? The rest of the family can leisurely wander through the airport to the Welcome Center.
Speeding from the airport to the resort
If you are using Magical Express Transportation, you will ride a free shuttle bus from the airport to the resort. No problem.

Quick check-in at the hotel
Disney has an online check-in system for its resort hotels that can speed your way to your room and beyond. With this system, you can check-in online ten days in advance. And then when you get to the hotel in person, you have a very special line that moves faster.
