Taking a positive pursuit towards your desires

Posted by admin

Your pursuit of your desires encourages you towards your own achievement. This propels you toward greater satisfaction in your life and sets a new blueprint for more positive experiences.

  • Do you have a strategy to stay healthy?
  • For staying passionate?
  • For living a part of your dream every day?
  • What do you think about this?
  • How could it be if you let it?

We are taught not to be too conceited, not to be conceited, or to think too much of oneself. Women in particular are programmed to be hard on themselves and critical. They teach us that how you look is more important than what you think. They teach you to put the needs of others before our own.

Regardless of what you believe intellectually, it can be difficult to overcome these stereotypes and break away from what is yours to do and feel good about. To feel confident and determined. That said, it’s an “inside job” that you have to do yourself. When you are in pursuit of your desires, start by valuing yourself, your contributions, your visions, your goals, and your dreams.

The small gratifications in the pursuit of your desires make up the bigger picture of satisfaction. To build your bold and brave, and imagined future. Create a vision board, write it down and/or take a photo and keep it in your wallet.

When you train a dog, you do so through a series of positive rewards. Eventually, the dog learns that if he does this, he will get that. We use food and treats to create positive reinforcement.

Our mind works much like the dog in this case; repetition and positive reinforcement eventually create the result you want. You are creating positive experiences; you are ‘accumulating’ them so that you can move further and further in the pursuit of your desires for success.

In your pursuit of your desires, take action by doing this consistently and repeatedly. This creates new neural pathways, training and retraining your brain to get more of what you want from you. By remembering positive experiences, you develop strategies to lead yourself to greater satisfaction, to stay healthy, and to contribute to your being.

However, if in pursuit of the one thing you want most, you begin to deny yourself any fun or free time, and feel constantly insecure, unsuccessful, unimportant, and insecure, you are living your life in a state of lack, hoping that one day you will have an experience that you do want.

Does this mean you should just work on your state and ignore what’s driving you? Not at all!

Focus on what you want

We often need to clear the dirt and see clearly and it is often surprising how easy it is to do this when there is guidance. Really, when you stop and think about it, most things are easier when you have help, but you seem to think that when it comes to our personal changes, you should be able to do it yourself. When you are in pursuit of your desires, yes, you can do it alone, but sometimes you lose perspective of yourself, not having the ability to be objective.

This is like a step-by-step window cleaning process – think of it as the window to your soul or inner longings, and it can be a profound journey, possibly the most important one you will ever go through. Once you begin to see clearly, you will now have the ‘what’ identified in many areas of your life.

For some, it’s like peeling the layers of an onion, more and more revealing and less messy as they peel. For others, it’s like cleaning the dirty window of their mental vision. Suddenly, daylight streams in, illuminating everything that was there, but remaining asleep, invisible. For some the process is very fast, for others it is slower. Either way, it’s always an exciting process that has a positive outcome.

Learn to discern what is right for you: know or clarify what you want and then get out of the way as this makes life rewarding. – a life of purpose, passion and clarity.

In your pursuit of your desires, these are simple questions, but they can give you a real sense of where you are resisting and where you are open. Often the ideas you have originate from our growing up years. Even if it has radically changed, it still holds the ideas and beliefs of its family of origin somewhere in our hearts or heads.

It’s good to shed light on your beliefs from time to time and see if they still serve you. It is useful to separate what comes from your head and what comes from your heart.
