Make sure you buy your PortAventura tickets before your visit

Posted by admin

We love PortAventura and have been lucky enough to visit it several times in the last 10 years. In fact, we are heading to Salou for the mid-May holidays. That’s why I thought I better start with my planning and was surprised how this year the difference in ticket prices is bigger than ever.

Don’t wait until you get to the gates to buy your tickets, as this is by far the most expensive option.

From previous experience, I know that buying tickets at the gate is the least flexible and most expensive option, but I started on the official website, so I know what I’m aiming to beat.

As it is on the website, they will offer only three ticket options. The 1 day, 2 days or 3 days and 2 parks option will not cover our 7 day vacation and will make it very restrictive for when we can visit. It is also interesting to see that for a 2-day ticket it will cost €66 (€33 for a 1-day ticket is even less value for money at €44)

I now look at some of the ticket agencies on the web and am amazed at the choice and also at the difference in price. I find I can buy a 7 day flex ticket for £63.00 at the current exchange rate, this works out cheaper. than a 2 day pass and it means we can go whenever we feel like rather than being restricted to certain days. Who can go wrong with £9.00 a day? Even cheaper for children and seniors!

At certain times of the year you can get even better deals than this, i.e. 14 days for the price of 7 (£4.50 per day)

So do your research and make sure you buy your tickets before you travel to get the best value for money.
