Unforeseen life challenges
On the first weekend of September 2020, I went to my former colleague’s wife’s house with the intention of interviewing her on Facebook Live.
Her name is Sandy C and she recently signed up as one of my business associates.
She entered network marketing after seeing my business success on Facebook and also wanted to create an additional source of income for herself and her family.
This is his story.
Sandy C works for a travel luggage manufacturing company in Kuala Lumpur.
Six months after Malaysia’s first Motion Control Order (MCO) in March 2020, Sandy’s boss sent a company-wide memorandum.
The business is in financial trouble and may not be able to pay payroll.
Due to the nationwide lockdown, the travel industry is paralyzed.
Since the company manufactures travel luggage, sales have dropped dramatically and the company can no longer support itself.
Sandy and all her colleagues had two options.
They can resign or take half a month of compulsory leave without pay and remain employed in the company.
Fearing she would not be able to find another job if she quit, Sandy took the second option.
She works only 2 weeks in a month and indeed her income was cut in half.
Because Sandy has a young daughter at home, she was looking for a backup plan for herself and her family.
That’s why Sandy came up to me.
Facebook Live Beginner
Sandy joined my network marketing team a few months ago.
When she signed up, she bought some of the company’s products for herself and her daughter.
A couple of weeks ago, I ran into Sandy at her house. She mentioned that she and her daughter have had a good experience with the product.
It seems that your daughter’s cough attack has subsided after she started taking the supplement.
These are excellent testimonials and I wanted to do a Facebook Live interview with her right away.
However, Sandy declined to say that she is camera shy and would not know what to say.
I encouraged her to try and she still refused.
I recently met up with Sandy again and told her that I wanted to do a Facebook Live interview with her.
This time, she agreed.
The reason I wanted to do a Facebook Live interview with Sandy was to help her start growing her MLM business.
You need to start telling your friends and family that you have started a home business and that the best way to do it is through social media, which is Facebook.

The best way to use Facebook for your business is through Facebook Live.
Knowing how to make Facebook Live is now an essential skill that you will need to build a direct selling business.

The only way to acquire the skill of interviewing on Facebook is Just do it!
That was exactly what I wanted to do for Sandy when I met her at her home.
I wanted him to get out of his comfort zone and start doing Facebook Live.
During the short interview, Sandy shared her personal experience with the product.
I also asked her about her daughter’s experience and she shared her story honestly.
For the first Facebook Live interview, Sandy did very well.
