Pain does not respect the person, whether it is a pain, a grievance or an annoyance, it is not pleasant for the soul and the body. There are two ways to get out of it, to find a cure or for the affected person to seek the termination of his life. Likewise, a person who passes through the valley of the shadow of death would sometimes prefer death to relieve himself of the pain caused in that situation.

Grace and faith brings deliverance

Valley of the shadow of death can mean anguish, pain, a difficult or trembling situation, where the hope of overcoming the unbearable is hopeless. It is only the grace of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, that can deliver such a person from such a predicament.

The Bible says,

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will dwell in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord: He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him I will trust. Surely he will deliver you from the snare of the hunter, and from the silent pestilence » (Ps 91, 1-3).

living testimony

A woman of God came to our church to testify how God delivered her from the pit of the shadow of death. This is a living testimony, true to life. She accidentally fell into a 33 foot well. She thought that the iron sheet that covers it was left loose on the ground, unaware that there was an abandoned well underneath.

divine intervention

He was in the well for two hours with broken legs or shattered bones before he could get help.

God spared her so she wouldn’t break her spinal cord or hit her head on the rocky bottom of the well. That is amazing grace.

While inside the well, she said that there were reptiles and scorpions crawling on her, however divine intervention did not allow them to sting or bite her. She reminds us of Daniel in the lions’ den (Daniel 6). She was in agony of pain and faced the possibility of even being suffocated.

God hears our prayers

As he struggled to pull her out of the well, he could no longer bear the pain, so he prayed that God would take her life if the pain did not subside. God answered him; she passed out between the time she was rescued from the well and the time she regained consciousness of herself in the hospital.

Enemies don’t give up easily.

Five different surgeries were performed on him in the five-month period he spent in the hospital. Imagine the bread it went through. To confirm that the whole event was orchestrated by the enemy (devil), during one of the surgeries, a surveillance agent (an owl) looked out the theater window. It wasn’t until the owl was killed that the surgery was unsuccessful.

the Bible says

“Be sober and vigilant, because your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour” (1 Peter 5:8)

At the end of the fifth surgery, he fully recovered. What an incredible delivery. Testimonials from other people reveal that this woman is pious, loving and hospitable; no wonder she receives grace.

shadow of death apparitions

The shadow of death refers to situations where people found themselves not of their own free will, but by unforeseen powers, for example, Satan with his weapons. These weapons manifest in the form of illness, disease, disaster, accident, hardship, loss, affliction or attack, not limited to but inclusive of these.

Another shadow of death, which is more dangerous, hangs over an apostate Christian. When a child of God plays with sin, he walks through the valley of the shadow of death. A Christian who is deeply in the sin of cultism, fornication, drunkenness, unforgiveness, pride, greed, sower of discord, wickedness, impiety, etc.; Where would such a Christian end up? A Christian who finds himself in the valley of the shadow of death not of his own free will is undergoing a temporary trial; he would be delivered.

However, a Christian who walks in the valley of sin is of his own free will, he is not guaranteed any deliverance.
