Use selling charities and pay no commissions

Posted by admin

When you start getting locations for your gumball machines, you may need to pay commissions to the location.

I’m telling you right now don’t do it.

You won’t be in business for long splitting the profits with the owner of the business you put your machine in. Of all my placements, I don’t pay any commission, I use a charity.

Use a charity

There are numerous charities around the country that have what they call selling programs. You basically call them and tell them you want to be on their sales show. The charity will send you a packet and all the information you need to fill out. Tell the charity how many gumball machines you have and they will send you that many stickers.

Let’s say you have 10 vending machines, they will send you 10 stickers to place on your vending machines. Now, before those stickers ship out, you’ll usually have to agree on how much you’ll pay per month for each sticker. For the most part it is usually between 1 and 2 dollars per sticker.

Pay charity instead of high commissions.

I pay 1.00 per sticker. For example, let’s say you have 10 gumball machines and you’ve just chosen the charity to use and you’re locating the machines yourself. Well, you go around town and find a place. You tell the man or woman that you work for this or that charity and give them a cut of the profits. If they say yes, you shouldn’t have to pay them any commission because you give a portion of the money to charity.

So everyone wins, you get a location, the owner feels good because they are helping the charity by letting you put your vending machine in their business, and the charity gets their money every month, with no placement fees. So all you have to pay is 1.00 per month per location. Not bad huh.

I feel bad 1.00 per sticker is not enough

The charity is making a lot of money, don’t worry about them. If a charity has 30,000 sales stickers, then the charity receives 30,000 a month from their sales program alone. So don’t think you are scamming anyone, you are really helping the charity a lot.
