Nissan Pixo is one of the upcoming models of Nissan India. The company plans to seize the Indian market in all segments. So they keep busy and try to do their best for the Indian customers to achieve their motto. Nissan plans to launch more than 3 cars next year, namely Nissan Murano, Nissan Pixo and Nissan leaf. You will compete with cars like Honda Brio, Maruti Cervo, Chevy Beat, etc.
It is a small car that is going to be a big hit in the Indian market. The car is suitable for middle class families in India, the expected price range of the Pixo is around 3-4 lakhs in the Indian market. The company plans to launch Nissan Pixo in mid 2011. This shows Nissan Indian’s strategy to make them popular in India.
The company has partnered with Suzuki to develop Pixo, which is based on the A-star; it will be developed in India and exported to other countries. There are plans to make some changes to the exterior of A-star and the rest of the car will be the same. Changes will include a new grille, upgraded bumpers and the Nissan logo. The car will compete with Chevy beat, VW Polo, Ford Figo and other small cars in the Indian market. The company is informed that it will launch the Nissan Pixo in two variants in India-Visia and Acenta.
Engine- It is powered by a 998cc KB-series 3-cylinder all-alloy twelve-valve petrol engine, which meets Euro 5 emission standards with Co2 emissions. It will have the capacity to produce 67 hp of maximum power at 6,200 rpm and 90 Nm of maximum torque at 3,500 rpm. Power and torque will be cleverly put to use by a five-speed manual transmission.
Foreign – It is a four-seater with five doors that has a stifling appearance. The exterior design is aggressive, giving the car a sporty look. The top and bottom racks are well formed where the top rack has been split into 2 parts and two pieces are given on each side. The car comes with the latest headlights along with the cluster. It also gets a body-color outside rearview mirror (front) with turn indicators and rain-sensing wipers. Door handle bars and front and rear bumpers are also body-colored. The car gives you enough space in the back to store your purchases
interiors – It comes with several interior features like round speedometer, DIN audio system, and heating and ventilation that make you feel happy with the interior of the car. It has a dashboard consisting of a speedometer, AC vents, and an audio system. It has a good capacity when it comes to storing valuables. The seats are wide and will give you comfort as the seat adjustment is very easy for both the passengers and the driver.
